Day 01:: Delhi
Your tour starts from Delhi - the capital city of India. The city has a vibrant Mughal history and is known for its hospitality, beautiful monuments and vibrant people. At the Delhi airport our representative awaits your gracious presence. You would be provided with the required help for arranging a comfortable accommodation for an overnight stay.
Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast an entire day is provided to tour the capital city of Delhi which is filled with ancient shades and is combined with modern facilities. The Qutub Minar which is the tallest minaret, Red Fort also known as the Lal Qila, the historical India Gate – a war memorial, Jantar Mantar which is an unique astronomical observatory, Raj Ghat which is built in the memory of the Apostle of Peace Mahatma Gandhi, Rashtrapati Bhawan - the residence of the President, the Indian Parliament House and the majestic Jama Masjid which is the principal mosque in Delhi are some of the major places of tourist attraction. You can take an auto rickshaw ride and visit the Chandni Chowk – a market where one can find handicrafts, paintings, silks, jewelry and carpets. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03 Mandawa
After breakfast, leave for Mandawa. Mandawa is a relaxing destination of the kings of the yesteryears. It is famous for its Havelis and giant forts. Some of the famous havelis in Mandawa are Binsidhar Newatia Haveli was a residential palace that is now used for tourist purposes, Murmuria Haveli which is known for its beautiful paintings and artistic walls and the Chowkhadi Haveli has twin wings and has been well maintained. Day 04 Bikaner
After exploring the traditional culture of the people in Mandawa the next destination is the city of Bikaner which is located at the center of the Thar Desert. There are several forts and Temples worth your attention. A few places of tourist attraction in Bikaner are the Lal Garh Palace which was built by the great Maharaja Ganga Singh in the year 1902. This erstwhile ruler is fondly remembered for the construction of the canals that he initiated. Overnight in Bikaner.
Day 05 Jaisalmer
After breakfast leave for The desert city of Jaisalmer - also called the The Golden city - welcomes you to explore the brilliance and magic of the Thar Desert. A visit to the narrow lanes of the bazaars in Jaisalmer is a must where there are several traditional handicraft and silk items in abundance. You can visit the Jaisalmer fort which has three temples and five palaces within the premises. This fort was built in the year 1156 AD. This fort is one of the biggest desert structures in the world. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 06 Jaisalmer
This day is spent in exploring the exotic city of Jaisalmer. Tourists have an opportunity to travel through the remote and the beautiful parts of the city on this day. Jaisalmer is also renowned due to the several forts that are located in the city. One can also go for a Camel ride in the Sand Dunes. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 07 Jodhpur
A few hours drive from Jaisalmer, Jodhpur is a great place to enjoy the extraordinary talent of sculptors of those times. Jodhpur is famous for traditional items of art and craft. Items made of wood and stones are famous in this city. The decoration in the palace walls seems to be of real life. The other attractive places are the Temples, Forts and Havelis in Jodhpur. Day 08 Udaipur
In the morning we drive to Udaipur. Arrive in Udaipur , or the city of Lakes in Rajasthan was established by Maharana Udai Singh in the 16th century. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Udaipur
Day 09 Udaipur
After breakfast depart for a guded tour of the city. The palaces set within the azure waters of Lake Pichola are a beautiful sight. Udaipur is also famous for handicrafts and works of art. See the Saheliyon - Ki - Bari, Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Lake Pichola. Return to your hotel to stay. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 10 Bundi
In the morning we drive to Bundi and visit monuments & havelis fort to see sunsets. Bundi palace, which is situated on a hill, adjacent to the Taragarh fort, is known for its traditional murals. Bundi is famous for its waterworks. It has a number of impressive baolis or step wells. Raniji-ki-Baoli, (Queen's step well) is an important place to visit. It is a 46-m-deep step well, built in 1699 by Queen Nathavatji, and is known for its carvings. The Nagar Sagar Kund, a pair of identical, step wells is near Raniji-ki-Baoli, in the center of the town. Nawal Sagar, the artificial lake near the palace is a good tourist spot and one can see a shrine at the center of this lake. Other waterworks worth visiting are Dhabhai Kund and Bhora-ji-ka-Kund. Other places of tourist importance are the Sabzi Mandi (vegetable market) within the old town. An 84-pillared cenotaph is situated at the southern end of the town within a well-laid garden, near the railway station. It is worth visiting at night when the monument is lit up. Overnight in Bundi.
Day 11 Jaipur
After breakfast, leave for Jaipur which is also known as the pink city is located amidst rugged hills and is filled with forts and ruined walls. Spend the day and soil yourself in the beauty of Amer Fort which is located at the convenient distance of 11 kilometers from the city of Jaipur. You can also visit the Hawa Mahal also called as the palace of wind. Moreover visit the Jantar Mantar, a place where you find instruments used during the historical times to measure time and the position of the sun. One can also visit the City Palace which is an excellent mixture of the Rajasthani and Mughal culture. Visitors can also visit the Amer Palace which was built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar in the year 1592. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 12 Jaipur
This day is spent exploring the bazaars in the city of Jaipur. The city is famous for silk traditional wares and Banarasi saris. Have a sip of coffee in open aired restaurants available in the bazaars amidst the cool breeze in the evening. It is famous for the silver jewelry, semi-precious stones and embroidered fabrics. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 13 Jaipur- Agra
Post breakfast the tour leaves for sight seeing tour of the city of Agra. en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri (Ghost Capital), the political capital of India's Mughal Empire under Akbar's reign, from the year 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water. Visit Emperor Akbar's Residential complex, Mosque & Tomb of Salim Chisti.The graceful city of Agra still retains its Mogul character with numerous historical relics and attractions. There the tourists visit the Red Fort, which contains the public and private audience hall, and many other structures that are beautiful, the Itimad-ud-daulah, and the most remarkable monument of India, i.e., the Taj Mahal, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz and that is why it is also known as the symbol of love. Day 14 Agra - Delhi
